Welcome to what is the final Four Freedoms of 2025 – one that closes out the year nicely, as you hopefully take the opportunity to step back and enjoy time with your loved ones. For that is – as we often struggle to practice amidst all-consuming career ambitions – what it’s all about.

I write this from a rainy but nevertheless comforting Vancouver, back home after a busy couple of weeks in Cannes, Provence, and London. With lots to work on following said trip, it’s going to take a concerted effort not to dive in over the coming days, and instead, enjoy what might well be the last “normal” Christmas for me (2026 should, excitingly, include a cross-continental relocation).

This week’s roundup is a comprehensive one – from F1 car reveals to Italian spas, revived hotel icons to supersonic business jets, there’s plenty to inspire heading into the New Year (and plenty to spend on, should your accountant send you a last-minute message).

On behalf of our growing Liber team, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
